Right of withdrawal

Where the right of withdrawal applies, the consumer customer has a period of fourteen days from receipt of the product to notify their decision to withdraw, without having to give any reason.

The request must be sent to Cécile Trousse by e-mail at ceciletrousse@gmail.com or by post to the following address: Cécile Trousse, 35 avenue Jean Jaurès, 73000 Chambéry, France. The customer may use the model form provided at the end of this policy, although its use is not mandatory.

After notifying the withdrawal, the product must be returned within fourteen days at the latest. The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the customer. The product must be properly protected and returned in a condition that allows it to be resold. The customer may be held liable for any diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.

The refund includes the price of the product and the standard delivery costs initially charged. Any additional costs resulting from the choice of a delivery method more expensive than the standard method offered are not refunded. The refund is made no later than fourteen days after notification of the withdrawal. It may be withheld until the product has been received back or until proof of dispatch has been supplied, whichever is earlier. The refund is made using the same means of payment as that used for the order, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

In accordance with the law, the right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised. The mere fact that a reproduction is produced after the order is placed is not sufficient to exclude the right of withdrawal if it is not personalised to the customer's specifications.

Damaged or non-conforming product, or order error

The customer is asked to check the parcel upon receipt. If a product is damaged, non-conforming or received in error, the customer must contact Cécile Trousse as soon as possible at ceciletrousse@gmail.com stating the order number and attaching photographs of the product and its packaging. A suitable solution will be offered: replacement where possible, repair, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances and the applicable legal guarantees.

These provisions do not limit the legal guarantee of conformity or the guarantee against hidden defects.

Exchanges

Original works are unique pieces and cannot always be exchanged for an identical item. To request an exchange of a reproduction or another product, the customer must write to ceciletrousse@gmail.com before returning anything.
