First frosts

First Frost gathers forest landscapes captured at that particular moment when nature gently tips toward winter. The last colors of autumn brush against the first cold, the trees shed their leaves, and frost sometimes brightens the branches and undergrowth.

I love this period when landscapes almost change in texture. The colors become more muted, the mist more present, the light paler. The forest we thought we knew suddenly takes on a whole new look, seemingly more fragile, yet still profoundly alive.

This collection also speaks of those slow transformations that you only notice if you take the time to look. A branch whitened by frost, a cold light between the trees, the last leaves still clinging on… all these subtle signs tell the story of the transition from one season to the next.
