At nightfall

The sky has clouded over and the light is becoming colder, more diffused. In the distance, the landscape darkens, while in the foreground, a few bright patches still linger. The scenery seems to be waiting, under this particular atmosphere that sometimes precedes a storm as much as the night.

At Nightfall evokes those moments when light suddenly transforms our perception of a landscape. Colors narrow, contrasts sharpen, and the horizon takes on a new presence, as if the distance momentarily becomes more mysterious.

I love these tipping points, when the day is still there but you can already feel the light fading. For a few minutes, the landscape changes its face and reminds us how the same view can become totally different depending on the sky that passes through it.
