Description
Description
In this work, the mountain occupies almost the entire space on its own. Its form emerges through nuances of earth, gray, and black, while variations in texture reveal the relief, roughness, and traces that seem to run across the rock.
Origine evokes the mountain landscapes of Chinese ink painting for me, where a few shades, transparencies, and variations in density are enough to suggest the full depth of a relief. I love this way of letting the material give rise to the landscape, without seeking to precisely draw every contour.
There is something raw and ancient in this mountain, which deeply aligns with the spirit of Wild Earth. A land brought back to its most essential form, shaped by time long before our arrival.
