A little slice of paradise

In the distance, a small island seems to emerge from the ocean, almost lost in the vastness. The turquoise blues of the water, the clear light, and this barely sketched vegetation evoke the landscapes of tropical islands, still wild and isolated from the rest of the world.

A little corner of paradise was born from this vision of an island lost in the middle of the ocean. A place we like to imagine preserved, far from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, even if the adventure would undoubtedly be much less idyllic once stranded there!

What I like most is all that this tiny land on the horizon allows one to imagine. We know nothing of what is there, and perhaps that is precisely why it so easily becomes the setting for our dreams of escape and freedom.
